About Giles Ward
Giles Ward is an artist and writer based in the South West of England. Originally from Yorkshire he studied fine art at Sheffield before moving to Exeter to study Illustration and Graphic Design. He now lives and works in Bristol, with his work being sold in galleries all across the UK and overseas. However, this international aclaim doesn’t change his passion for locality. He is very fond of the local Art Scene and is a passionate advocate of the creative arts. Equally important, he is a trustee of the Exeter based arts for health charity Magic Carpet.
Although he defies the need to be categorised as an artist. Giles flirts with the disciplines of painting, sculpture, writing and photography. Both a published author and published artist, creative playfulness and experimentation is at the heart of everything he does. And these traits reflect on his latest work depicting fish and sea creatures in a modern and quirky way.

As customers desribe it, his work “Thick in paint and almost 3D”
