Artist biography

Linda Bartlett is a Devon based artist, living just outside Exeter. Inspired by the beauty of the West Country, she uses colour, shape and form to portray local scenes in her own whimsical, naive style. She creates colourful interpretations of West Country landscapes, villages, and particularly coastal scenes, using a variety of techniques including watercolour, acrylics and mixed media.

Her work is sold internationally, and is increasingly gaining in popularity, especially her West Country Harbour scenes. These aim to capture the essence and character of quaint seaside villages with their characteristic cottages, shops, restaurants and fishing boats. She hopes her paintings remind the viewer of happy holidays and trips to the beautiful coastal areas of Devon and Cornwall.

All her pieces are professionally framed with handmade bespoke frames. Some limited edition Giclee prints are available, which are created using high quality archival inks, providing remarkable longevity.
